A wave of birds along the shoreline by *Psycho Delia*

I'm not sure what these birds were but they were along the shoreline on Formby beach yesterday. This was the closest I could get to them and also my favourite shot of them. I'm sure there's a word for this, but I can't remember what it is :) http://flic.kr/p/iqq8Cx

A Door To The Light by designldg

“There will always be a door to the light.” (From “Kingdom Hearts, Vol. 1" by Shiro Amano) There is a passage at Nepali ghat nearby the Ganges leading upper to the heart of the old city of Varanasi (Benaras). It is a long corridor with several staircases drowned into a kind of darkness where it is difficult to breath during summers. In addition this place is the kingdom of several bat colonies bringing a dark and gloomy atmosphere all around but at the end of this short cut there is “a door to the light”.
