Of postponement.
It amuses me to recall that around a decade back I as toying with the idea of being able to "do as I please" meaning "be finally able to read all that I want and listen to all that music that I have stockpiled" after I reach 40. With the notion that I would figure out a way to eke out a career after a break at that age.
Two mortgages later, coupled with an economic engine that seems to be floundering into the Mariana Trench, I'm fairly sure that's not going to happen. At least not within that time-frame.
