Aurora Australis, as seen from Tasmania by varrqnuht
The Aurora Australis (The "Southern Lights") as seen from Hope Beach, South Arm, Tasmania. This is a panorama of 7 frames pre-processed in Aperture and stitched together in Hugin. It was too wide, so it's been cropped here. (You might argue that it's still too wide!) Each frame is a 13s exposure from my Canon 600D through a 50mm 1.8 lens.
